As we approach the end of 2021 I want to wish everyone happy holidays and best wishes for 2022. I haven’t posted much lately as I’ve been hard at work reviewing the final proofs for my upcoming book on virology. In the book, I explore the science, history, and social impact of viruses. Anyone interested in what viruses are, where they come from, and how they work should find this book very informative.
After the new year, I intend to restart more regular blog posts and am open to any suggestions about topics. I usually report on recently published biological research, but I am also willing to try more general reports on subjects of interest to readers of this blog. For example, if there is interest in anti-COVID drugs I could write a blog describing the current drugs in testing and how they work, even though this is mostly unpublished work.
